¨ CREATES A TWO STAGE WITH HIGH VOLUME LOW PRSSURE THAT TRANSITIONS INTO HIGH PRESSURE LOW VOLUME. THIS ALLOWS FOR MAXIMUM RETRACTION WITH MINIMUM PEDAL TRAVEL ALONG WITH LESS PEDAL FOOT PRESSURE
¨ THE INTENSIFIER HAS ONE MOVING PART AND 5 PIECES IN TOTAL
¨ THERE ARE NINE RATIOS AVAILABLE RANGING FROM 1.9 TO 3.28 PRESSURE INCREASE.
¨ WITH A 1.5 DIAMETER PISTON MASTER CYLINDER AND A 3.28 RATIO INTENSIFIER, THE ACTUAL PRESSURE WILL BE EQUIVALENT TO A 13/16 MASTER WITH THE RETRACTION TAKE UP EQUIVALENT TO A 1 ½ MASTER.
¨ THE COMBINATIONS ARE MANY DEPENDING ON THE PRIMARY MASTER CYLINDER AND THE RATIO OF THE INTENSIFIER.
¨ THE INTENSIFIER IS INSTALLED IN THE BRAKE LINE ANYWHERE BETWEEN THE MASTER AND THE CALIPER BUT IS BEST AS CLOSE TO THE MASTER AS POSSIBLE AND IN A RELATIVELY COOL PLACE.
¨ ON A FRONT ENGINE RACE CAR THE INTENSIFIER NORMALLY ONLY NEEDS TO BE ON THE FRONT BRAKE ASSEMBLY.
¨ THE INTENSIFIER IS DESIGNED TO FEED 2 WHEELS ONLY.
